With nearly a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Casiano brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the office, including smile recreations, surgical extractions, implants, root canal therapy, dentures, and implant-supported dentures.
“My passion towards restoring smiles, performing my own lab work, and helping others with complex dental needs led me to pursue specialty training in Prosthodontics. I believe in the Golden Rule – treat others as you would like to be treated. This means clarity of diagnosis, kindness, and creating an environment of psychological safety by meeting patients where they are when it comes to their dental health. A more hidden passion for me is teaching. As a pre-Doctorate clinical instructor, I was able to share my passions with soon-to-be dentists for 3 years, specifically the advances of digital dentistry, smile design, and dental photography. Teaching gives me energy and I find it is one of the most genuine methods of showing compassion. These attributes are how I came up with the name Serenity Dental of Mobile, and I am excited to lead such a wonderful team.”
In his spare time, Dr. Casiano likes spending time with his family, wife, cat, and his African Grey parrot. Other hobbies include gardening, reading, and hiking. Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Casiano moved to Alabama in 2009 where he obtained both his Biology Degree (Magna Cum Laude) and DMD (Cum Laude) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He practiced in rural communities along the Gulf Coast before deciding to specialize in implants and denture prosthesis. He is committed to lifelong learning and repeatedly exceeds the yearly requirements for dental continuing education. He has earned the Academy of General Dentistry’s Proficiency and Excellence Award. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, Mobile Area Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
